Our client, a prestigious London university, is urgently looking for someone with a very specific skillset to work in the Research and Enterprise department. The role will be for 3 months, initially – but it is highly likely that it will be extended. The pay is approx. £22 per hour and it is a full time role.

There is a full job description available and I would encourage interested parties to contact Trudi on 0203 637 2562 to discuss the role, in depth.

If successful you will be working in a ‘Pre-Award’ function – nothing at all in Post-Award – so you will work with academic researchers in the preparation of bids for European funding for research projects.

In most cases you will liaise with the lead bid partner – usually from a European University or Research Institute – when developing your part in the proposal for collaborative research.

As such you will need to have experience of working with a team of academics, and budget planning (for research projects).

You will be familiar with, and ideally have used, Horizon 2020, Marie Curie or similar EU funding programmes.

You will need to be able to use the EU Portal. This is essential.

Please only apply for this role if you have this experience. It is a short-term role and you must be able to hit the ground running.

Please send a CV and cover note to, or call and ask for the full job description.
