My Client is a prestigious Library in Central London and are looking for a temporary Project officer role.

Able to work with ERDF Project Management Guidance and ensure the client complies with its strict templates and reporting requirements

  • Working closely with the Project Manager to maintain robust monitoring and reporting systems and across the 10 borough library authorities.
  • Being the day-to-day contact with the SME champions within each of the boroughs and addressing any queries they may have.
  • Producing regular quarterly reports for the European Project Management Unit to confirm key performance indicators achieved for each quarter.
  • Coordinating the report activity from the 10 borough library delivery partners, ensuring that they collect all the data and required evidence for the quarterly claims.
  • Producing regular BL management reports on target vs plan, highlighting any opportunities and issues which arise.
  • To provide support for events, liaising with other teams such as Catering, Security and the Welcome Team
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including arranging meetings, managing the SiLL project calendar, booking rooms, ordering catering and tracking invoices.

Minimum Requirements (Essential)

  • Experience of ERDF-funded projects
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to balance own workload effectively.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and ability to enter and record data accurately.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel, with proven ability to produce meaningful management reports.
  • Pleasant and open manner, with the confidence to deal with entrepreneurs, business partners, stakeholders and the general public.
  • Demonstrates initiative and a “can do” attitude.

Additional Requirements (Desirable)

  • Working knowledge of stakeholder management or customer relationship management databases.
  • Knowledge of the business sector.
  • Experience of events coordination.
