My Client is University based in Central London and looking for maternity cover for 6 month starting 27th January 2020.

Your time will be split 50/50 between managing up to 8 team members, and working as a Project Support Officer on projects.

Have you got the experience with the skill set and qualification and hit the ground running and will need minimal support from a line-management point of view?

Key skills:-

  • 12 months experience of line management (preferably in a matrix-management situation)
  • Experience working on projects, with evidence of success
  • An understanding of higher education and the needs of its stakeholders
  • Ability to work both independently and part of team
  • Ability to juggle multiple deadlines
  • experience either leading or supporting projects.

 

Task:-

Line Management of Project Support Officers, Assistants and Project Administrators.

Resource Planning

Stakeholder engagement, Networking and communications

Effective Financial Management

Providing advisory support to other members of the ITCPD team and broadly within ISD.

Project communications, planning, Programme meetings

 

Desirable:-

Qualification in PRINCE2 at either Foundation or Practitioner level.

Web content management knowledge such as Silva.

Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Project.

IT procurement in a public sector environment.

Awareness of the objectives and functions of the Higher Education sector including governance and funding issues.

 

The normal hours of work are 36.5 hours per week

£23.47/ hr
