Trainee Employability Consultant

£24-28k negotiable

A rare opportunity to train and develop a worthwhile career that involves working with and helping unemployed people from varied, often disadvantaged, backgrounds, into work, the job will involve working on both a one-to-one a group-basis with jobseekers, providing advice and guidance, developing job-seeking skills and helping to build their confidence and work ethic.  You will also need to build fruitful relationships with employers to attract a steady stream of suitable jobs, apprenticeships & work experience opportunities for your caseload.

This is an ideal role for a recent graduate, however we will also consider experienced applicants from any sector.  The key is that you have the right disposition and attitude, along with a keenness and ability to learn on-job and self-motivation.  Preference will be given to suitable applicants that have some experience within a customer-service/ sales environment and/or have experience of working with disadvantaged people/youth groups or similar.  However, all applications will be considered.
