Case Support Officer

Our client is a committed regulatory body are currently looking for Case Support Officer for 35 hours per week to join their busy team for 2 months initially. This post is full time and the role is paying £13.79 per hour, working Monday to Friday

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain electronic systems, and databases, to monitor and record case information making sure it is kept up to date, accurate and accessible in accordance with the Data Protection Policy.
  • Drafting casework related correspondence according to instruction
  • Document redaction
  • Preparing hearing bundles
  • Provide a point of contact for queries and telephone calls about own caseload.
  • Proactively manage a caseload of miscellaneous cases, health and character declarations and protection of title cases by liaising with internal and external stakeholders, gathering and analysing case information and making case progression decisions.
  • Work closely with the Administration Team to ensure the timely distribution of information.
  • Carry out the responsibilities of the post with due regard to the organisations Equality and Diversity Policy.
  • Prepare correspondence to a variety of parties including complainants, registrants, lawyers and other stakeholders in relation to own caseload and to assist case managers.
  • Prepare bundles for health and character declarations for consideration by a Panel.
  • Present health and character declarations to Panel.

Key Requirements

  1. Excellent communication skills and enjoys listening and talking to people via communication technologies
  2. Experience of delivering a high level of customer service in retail, hospitality, education or another service sector.
  3. Displays professionalism in personal presentation, written and oral communication
  4. Experience of managing a caseload and making case progression decisions.
  5. Experienced and competent in using a range of IT packages and databases.
  6. Attention to detail and the ability to stay focussed.
  7. Ability to handle complaints and tricky situations calmly and resolving effectively
  8. Proven relevant successful support within an environment of high workloads, conflicting deadlines and pressure.
  9. Strong administration and grammatical skills are essential.
