Are you resident of London Borough of Southwark? Do you have previous experience working with children?

We have an interesting opportunity for you to join our client as Apprentice Nursery Practitioner. You will earn £16,000 per annum. You will work as part of a team to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn.

Due to the funding of this project we can only consider applicants from London Borough of Southwark.

Key responsibilities:

  • You will help prepare and fully set out the nursery before the children arrive and to tidy away at the end of the session.
  • You will assist in the planning of appropriate play and learning experiences based on the children’s interests and needs and identify any concerns in relation to the child’s development and well-being, offering early intervention, support and outside professional help if needed.
  • You will encourage parental involvement and share information daily with the parents/carers regarding their child’s progress.

Key requirements:

  • You must have Level 3 Childcare qualification and a willingness to work towards further appropriate qualifications.
  • You must have previous experience of working with children.
  • You must be able to meet children’s individual needs.
  • You must be able to write clear records/reports.
