JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Job Title: Night Reservations Agent (weekly hours to be discussed with HR manager)

Responsible To: Reservations Manager

 

Working Pattern: Shift Work (Overtime on offer, to be discussed with the HR manager)

 

Uniform and Lunch provided

 

Salary £17,000

 

Essential Functions:

  1. Responsible for taking reservations and accurately inputting into system.
  2. Answer inquiries of room rates, outlets and room locations.
  3. Interact with Group Rooms Coordinator on bookings.
  4. Handle all guests’ special requests in a professional manner.
  5. Post advance deposits and keep accurate records of deposits.
  6. Complete all necessary projects by the assigned times. Complete documents as directed and to specifications.
  7. Handling of all requests for guestroom reservations, changes, cancellations and information.
  8. Input and maintain all group details, routing and online booking links.
  9. To complete all the above tasks in a timely manner as per the hotel’s brand standards and attention to detail and accuracy is essential for this role
  10. Previous reservations experience within a hotel environment is desired.

 

Requirements:

 

Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays

Must have a flexible schedule

Understand and appreciate diversity with colleagues and guests

Multi-task and prioritize

Able to handle stress pressure in a fast paced and challenging environment

Knowledge of Word, Excel would be a strong advantage

Training on the in-house database Opera will be delivered
